NEXSUN POWER was founded in 2016 as a small garage-style startup—a project-oriented engineering company with a vision to revolutionize the energy industry by integrating information technology and communication (ITC) into green energy solutions. We recognized the need to wait for certain technologies to mature before fully realizing our vision. Since our inception, we have been part of the solar energy revolution, pioneering smart energy solutions.
During the pandemic, we seized the opportunity to reevaluate our company's strategy, evolving from a project-oriented approach to becoming technological partners for companies seeking to decarbonize their operations through a collaborative initiatives.
Today, transitioning from a solar energy engineering startup to an innovation company focused on converging green energy, smart energy, and digital energy technologies, we are now a leading provider of smart energy solutions.
While our initial experiences included the USA market, our current operations are primarily centered on serving customers in Peru and Uruguay, with strategic plans to expand across Latin America. Our commitment to innovation and sustainability remains unwavering as we continue to drive the global transition to renewable energy

NEXSUN POWER: Commitment to Excellence

Empowering Education in Rural Andean Schools

At NEXSUN POWER, we are proud to have contributed to the modernization of education in rural Andean schools in Peru through a landmark project aimed at overcoming energy challenges. In collaboration with Southern Peru and the Moquegua Regional Government, we installed state-of-the-art off-grid photovoltaic systems in 23 educational institutions.
The primary goal of this initiative was to harness solar energy effectively, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of interactive digital classrooms even in areas lacking reliable electrical infrastructure. These installations are strategically located in regions above 4,000 meters above sea level (msnm), where access to traditional power sources is limited.
This project exemplifies our commitment to leveraging renewable energy solutions to drive positive social impact and enhance educational opportunities in remote communities. By providing clean and sustainable energy solutions, we empower schools to embrace modern technology and create a conducive learning environment despite geographical challenges. We collaborated closely with top business partners and companies in the solar industry to deliver exceptional results for this critical education initiative.

Resilient Healthcare:
Providing Sustainable Energy Solutions During the Pandemic

During the peak of the pandemic, NEXSUN POWER was honored to provide sustainable energy solutions to a critical health center in New Jersey, USA. Despite the challenging circumstances, our team successfully installed a grid-connected robust solar energy system that powered the facility, ensuring continuous and reliable electricity for essential medical services. This project stands as a testament to our commitment to supporting vital institutions with innovative and resilient energy solutions, even in the most challenging times. This project was selected by Solar Builder magazine as one of the top five in its category, highlighting its exceptional impact and innovation. We collaborated closely with top companies and business partners in the solar industry to deliver exceptional results for this critical health center project.

Empowering Connectivity:
Nexsun Power's Role in Peru's Broadband Expansion

In Peru, the 'Installation of Broadband for Comprehensive Connectivity and Social Development' project is currently underway, aiming to provide broadband Internet and Intranet access to public and private institutions, as well as communities across all regions of Peru. The project involves implementing a fiber optic transport network and an access network to facilitate connectivity.
Nexsun Power plays a crucial role in this initiative as the supplier of monitoring platform software, overseeing critical systems deployed in four regions: Cusco, Ayacucho, Huancavelica, and Apurímac. This software ensures the reliability and performance of the broadband infrastructure, enabling effective management and maintenance of the network to support comprehensive connectivity and social development initiatives throughout Peru.
We are proud to be suppliers of Gilat, one of the main operator company responsible for developing and implementing this transformative broadband expansion project in Peru. Additionally, Nexsun Power collaborates with other top industry suppliers to contribute to the success and innovation of broadband connectivity initiatives.
